Karin Nussbaumer

These beautiful photos are from photographer Karin Nussbaumer. A few months ago I saw some of her work on Bloesem blog and I immediately fell in love! What a spectacular colors Karin used in these photos! This Elephant series is a free art series and I think that some of these photos almost become still life paintings. Karin was born in 1974 in Austria and studied in the Netherlands at the Art-Academy in Enschede (NL). She now is based in Amsterdam (NL) and Dornbirn (A). With her photos she creates stories. Sometimes fantastic, sometimes real. Often based upon and focused on small things.

Enjoying the warm weather!

Today it was a very warm day! So we made fun in our garden with water balloons and home made ice creams! For those in the Netherlands: hope you all are enjoying the warm weather for as long as it lasts ;-)

GoodMoodKid

I always loved the clothes from GoodMoodKid! So I was very happy when they asked me in 2010 if I wanted to make some prints for them! My kids look great in the comfortable t-shirts and onesies with their mother's designs! GoodMoodKid clothes are made from 95% cotton and 5% elasthine, so easy to wear and pull on/off.

Esthex

Esthex is a Dutch brand with the most beautiful dolls in their collection. Esther Schuivens is the woman behind the brand. Her collection of dolls started with Sofie. It was many years ago, in the year 2003, when Esther met Sofie. She existed as a drawing, very well hidden away in her parents attic. Esther felt inspired by the humor and simplicity and took the drawing, which she made when she was four years old, downstairs. Sofie was a model for the first Esthex doll and this was only the beginning of creating a whole family of dolls and friendly animals. Some characters like to play a musical tune, others like to entertain around the cradle or pram and some just like hanging around with the little ones. I love the creatures from Esthex and my daughter has a music box from Esthex in her room. For more info see: www.esthex.com.
