Blue I Love You!

Blue is one of my favourite colours for some years now (probably my love for blue started with the birth of my son…)! I also love the combination of blue with soft grey, I think it makes things look more sophisticated. 1 Love this dress from the Stella Mc Cartney kids collection! 2 'Pearls from Makkum' are beautiful pearls made from ceramic bij Tichelaar Makkum. I believe they are not only jewelry to wear but also make a nice statement as interior jewelry! 3 This little pouch is for your iPhone. The escape route can also be used for you headset. Made of leather that's finished on both sides. From the lovely Dutch brand Frrry. 4 Chair Tip Ton from Vitra defines a whole new chair typology: the solid plastic chair with forward-tilt action (also available in blue ;-)).

Gold!

I really like to watch the Olympics and wish all the athletes a special and sportive event. Today I was very impressed by Marianne Vos who won the women cycling race. Congratulations Marianne! It was great to see you race!

Lovely handmade jewelry

For years now I follow the blog Bloesem from Irene Hoofs. She was one of the first bloggers who blogged about my interior stickers and that’s how I became a loyal reader from Bloesem. Now Irene has designed her own jewelry collection and I am excited to show it to you, so here it is!

Irene made an entire collection for moms, daughters, tweens and their friends, all pieces come in very limited editions, carefully placed in beautiful gift boxes and are handmade by Irene herself. She uses materials that she loves such as pearls, real silver, gold filled beads and some of her favorite gem stones…and last but certainly not least…genuine Italian cotton ribbons from Angela Liquori.

Chicken in your kitchen!

At the webshop Buiten de lijntjes I came across these fun but beautiful dish towels from the French brand La Cocotte.
The ladies of La Cocotte gave the classic French dish towel a makeover. Inspired by the French national symbol "the chicken" or "La Cocotte". The background prints find their origin in the wax paper which butchers used to use to package their meat in. Where "La Cocotte" stands for is: fun in the kitchen, with high quality products which are stylish justified! Well I like them! Do you too?

Chocolate jewelry!

This is the lovely Koek & Chocolade (Biscuits & Chocolate) in Laren (The Netherlands). I think it's a real chocolate jewelry, not only nice for your mouth but also for the eyes! Anne-Claire Vermeer (notice the painting from the "other" Vermeer in the shop interior) is chocolatière here and Jos van Velzen is the pâtissier. Quality and fresh products are highly valued here. What do you think? Aren't these very sophisticated chocolates?
